Intro to Dance (ages 3-5)
This is a 45 minute class offered to boys and girls ages 3-5 one day per week. Each class consists of creative movement concepts and ballet technique. Students learn basic locomotor skills and beginning ballet concepts. They learn the importance of balance, poise, and overall fitness and are given the opportunity to play fun, creative games to encourage style and agility.
Jump N' Move (ages 3-5)
This is a sports inspired fitness program for ages 3-5. Lessons are based on a wide variety of sports themes. Some themes include: Spacial/Body Awareness, Balance, Jumping/Jump Ropes, Throwing/Catching, Bouncing/Dribbling, Kicking/Controlling, Parachute Games/Obstacle courses, and Traveling/Locomotor Skills. ALL LESSONS ARE PUT TO MUSIC! It's Just Fitness for the FUN of It!!
After-school/Evening Program (ages 5+)
For this age group, KCDF offers any combination of the following...Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, or Zumba Kids. All lessons incorporate age-appropriate music and movements that encourage style, agility, coordination, balance, and poise. Each genre can be broken into levels (Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced).
